Please note the following:
- That our preferred method for mounting a single shot action to your stock is with one of our V- bedding blocks.
- Take the action screws down evenly, no particular sequence required. The actions are stiff, regular in shape, and have plenty of bedding area and so don’t appear to suffer the complexities of bedding that other actions have.

Please Note the following:
- These drawings are suggestions and should be used as guidance only.
- Case Protrusion safety. When fitting a barrel it is your responsibility to ensure that the breech is safe for the cartridge case in question. Keep the unsupported cartridge case to a minimum. “Safe protrusion” is for you to work out. Cases are different in shape, size, groove shape, rim thickness, wall thickness and internal shape. Section the case in question and match it against your chamber, is the internal powder space supported adequately in your chamber?? That is the question you need to ask yourself. Obviously feeding, bolt nose and extractor configuration require a compromise but safety is paramount. If at all in doubt see a qualified gunsmith to do the work for you.
