Liam Hall, A passionate young shooter winning with his Barnard target action and True flite ultra-match barrel is shown above at 14 after winning the Victorian FTR Queens
Liam (and his father Mike) use Barnard Model P Target Actions. Liam’s rifle runs a heavy contoured True Flite Ultra Match 33inch barrels at 31mm Diameter, fluted. Mike says “We have almost driven Grant at True Flight mad, but he is fantastic to deal with”. With his Carbon Fibre stock his rifle is underweight by almost 100grams. Up front is an extra wide bipod at almost 700mm wide.
Liam received his Barnard P Action for his 12th Birthday. He made it into the Australian FTR team to shoot in NZ Last year 2015 He was 14 years old winning the 900 yard range, the Youngest Shooter to do so ever. Then he won the Victorian Queens (FTR) all open age in the same year. Youngest winner of a Queens in Australia ever. This year he came second in the Tasmanian Queens (FTR). And in the Trans-Tasman this Year shot the highest score out of Australia and NZ. Winning the 900y shooting a possible with a 90.11.
The Australian FTR Team. I’m extra happy as I made it in as well and got to shoot with my Son in an Australian Team. Liam is trying out for the Australian Team to shoot in the Worlds in Canada 2017. Most don’t know how old Liam is as he Over Six foot six inches. He is not your typical 15 year old!
